Finally, A Day Off!

Hmm yeah so this softball thing is exhausting! Since we played well last night in the scrimmage, we got the day off. But, tomorrow its back to the old softball field. It was so nice to just come home and relax and get all of the homework done before 11 pm! Oh and I forgot to talk about the scrimmage! We lost 3-2 (we could have won if he didn't have the mind set that he had to play everyone). We did really good the first two innings. They didn't score a run and we scored two. I pitched the first two and struck out four batters. Then this other girl went in to pitch and they scored two runs on us. She was really nervous you could tell. She's a good pitcher but just got really nervous. The rest of the game we played very well but just didnt have the right combination out on the field. Even the batting order was a bit mixed up so I am sure if that had been a real game we could have kicked their butts! So, that was our first scrimmage and thats how we did! Make sure you come to our first game next Friday! Its home versus Greencastle and Im pitching! Well back to the homework!

What an Awesome Day!

Hmm, I dont eve know what happened today to be honest. It was just one of those days where nothing really bad happened and you were sort of in a good mood the whole time. Took a test in World Cultures and of course totally aced it probably! We have a scrimmage tomorrow in Carlisle so I get out of school early which means that I get out of Chemistry! Im sitting here trying to get motivated to type up a project but thats just not happening so I think I am going to have to make myself become motivated and work at it. Had a good softball practice today. Not to many things went bad. There are two girls on the team that really need to adjust their attitudes. They are the type that have an excuse for everything they do wrong. I know that we all do that, but let me give you an example. Say I made a bad throw. I just say "Oh, crap!" and deal with it. Thats not an excuse. If one of these girls made a bad throw, they would say "Oh well my hand slipped!" which may be the case but does their hands slip every bad throw? Some of us want to approach them, but aren't really sure how to do it. We dont want to seem bossy about it, but yet we dont want them to continue because its causing them to hurt others on the team. We had one girl say that she doesn't even want to play because apprently all these girls do is make her feel bad. Does anyone have any ideas?

My Sister's Coming Back!

Okay well she's not my real sister, but when you live with someone for a while it totally seems like it! Noel and I have been talking and she may be coming over the weekend of April first! So, all my friends get your calendars ready! Its going to be so awesome! We are planning on going to the movies, going shopping, and just having a blast! Of course, at night we are planning to catch up with one another on things in our lives. For those of you that dont know, Noel lived with me and my family for about 4-6 months in 2004-2005. Basically, the first semester of the school year. After a awhile, we acted like sisters. Sometimes we argued and sometimes we got mad at one another. But in the end, we still loved one another. She is now living about an hour away maybe and we haven't seen each other for more than a year! This visit is going to be the best and even better, she is planning on coming the weekend before my birthday! Nothing like your good friend there for your sixteenth birthday! Okay well thats my excitement for the day! Oh and, its the first day of spring! Wahooo!

Tomorrow is Spring!

Hey all whats up? I am so psyched because tomorrow is the first day of spring! Wow, this winter went so fast! I am soo happy that this school year is almost over as well! Can't wait for the summer and what it holds! And, of course, this is the big year! There are a total of 51 more days until my big sixteenth birthday! Wowzers, the time is flying by fast! Today I am getting a break from helping my mom. My grandmother is here and this means that I have sometime to work on homework and anything else that I need to do. Ah, and yes! Back to the old school routine tomorrow! What a joy! Yeah, that is a joke! But might as well make the best out of it! Well, for now, I am off to spend time with the family! Later all!
