Let Go And Let God

Lately, I have had several people talk to me about somethings. Some of these things are pretty serious stuff, and some are not as serious as many would think. I had a girl come to me tonight and ask me to help her get closer to God. My first reaction was to say yes, because I do want her to get closer to God, because that is what God desires. But then I realized that I can't. I can pray for her, but I can't do it for her. Then we got into talking about just surrendering our lives to Christ and giving Him everything that we have. Sometimes we get so caught up on the outward appearance of being a christian, and we forget that it is a relationship in our hearts with Jesus Christ. There is nothing that anyone can do on this earth that will bring us closer to Jesus. We must committ ourselves to Him and surrender our lives. But some may say, "God can never forgive me of my past, I have done so many horrible things! I can't be forgiven. You want to know how I know that people say this? For one, I was in that position once. Thinking that my problems and my sins were to big for Christ to bear. Another reason as to why I know that people say this is because I have had others tell me this, and they said that they are not worthy of anything but hell. I agree with them. None of us are truly worthy of the gift of Heaven. We all ultimately deserve Hell. But by God's grace, we have Jesus who was bought on the Cross for our sins. If you don't think that God can forgive you of your sins, just remember let go, and let God! Let Him control your life!

Sex Still Has a Price Tag Part 5

Hey everyone! This is the last part of Pam Stenzels talk. There is a part 6 but it only last for like a minute and I dont feel like there is a reason as to why I should post it. I really hope that everyone has gotten something from what she has said. I know that I have gotten a lot from her. When we heard her speak, she was allowed to share God's view on things. Since in these tapes she was in a public school, she had to watch what she was saying. But what I liked about when we saw her was that you see all the reasons she says as to why you shouldn't be sexually active...STD's and things like that. But her other point was that God made it for marriage...I think above the pregnancy issue and above the STD issue, that is the most important reason! Here is part 5!
