A Long Day

This morning, for some odd reason, I woke up at 6. I could not get back to sleep, so I stayed up and worked on some laundry. I had to be at the high school by 8:30 for the most dramatic experience of my life. A couple of us students were asked to be victims in this mock catastrophe that they were going to stage at the school. Basically, we had to act really well. The catastrophe was that there was a gunman in the school and that a few of the classrooms were on fire. I got to be the student who ran out when the cops got there and was screaming. It was really scary. Everyone told me that the cops were probably going to think that I was the gunman and that I would have to be careful. It was the complete opposite and it wasn't as scary. But throughout the whole thing, I watched my friends go through with wounds that looked real. We all were talking afterwards and agreed that it seemed like everything was real. After this, I had to go to work from 12-2. I never got out of there until about 3-3:30. Then, I had to be back in at 5! Tomorrow I have to work 10-4..bleh! And, Janet is surprising me with something in the morning...Janet..surprise...I should be worried!
